Our Logo

The Prison Fellowship Logo, the bruised reed of Isaiah 42, is designed to remind us that our ministry is to those who have been bruised - prisoners, released prisoners and their families - whose lives have been marred or hurt or very nearly broken.

Throughout the Bible it is clear that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not focused on the proud and the powerful; nor is the Church an elite religious club to which only the spiritually healthy may apply.

The message of hope is the jubilant truth of Isaiah 42:3. None is so bruised that are broken; none so far away that restoration is impossible. Jesus Christ, in whose name we conduct this ministry, is the One who came to "open the eyes that are blind, to free the captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness" Isaiah 61:1.
