This is a well-maintained boat that would suit the keen angler and/or a family looking for a safe boat with excellent sea-keeping characteristics offering a degree of comfort and overnight sleeping accommodation for 3-4 persons.
Engine:
Ford Sabre 212C (220 HP) turbo-charged, 6-cylinder diesel inboard engine with Borg-Warner 2:1 gearbox. Cruising speed 8-9 knots. Top speed 11-12 knots. This engine was installed as a refurbished engine in 2009.
Insulated earth starter motor.
New engine box constructed in 2011 and fully sound-proofed and providing excellent access to engine.
Access to forward end of engine via a hatch in the cabin. Engine box has 2x automatic fire extinguishers. Cabin has 2 further manually operated fire extinguishers.
There is a large capacity (c. 60 gals) stainless steel diesel tank built in below deck.
Steering:
Hydraulic steering (Vetus HTP20(R) hydraulic steering pump installed new in October 2009). Electric rudder indicator.
Stainless steel rudder and 4-bladed propeller.
Trim tabs (need attention).
Electrics:
A Balmar 6-series 24v / 75A alternator charges the 2 battery banks via a split diode system.
The boat was re-wired completely in 2006/2007 (including new dashboard and engine instruments) and has a 24v system throughout although some 12v instruments are managed via a 24 to 12 v converter.
Cranking batteries = 2x 12v 170 AH wired as 24v.
'House' batteries = 2x 12v 200 AH wired as 24v.
Wired for AC shore supply.
Instrumentation:
Simrad AP25 Autopilot (with AC10 autopilot computer) operating through an hydraulic pump and a RFC35N Fluxgate compass. This system was installed new in September 2009.
Xantrex Link 2000 Battery monitor (installed new in 2009).

Accommodation:
There is a spacious cabin (which is carpeted) with a seating/dining area. Extensive storage cupboards. Portable gas stove. Cutlery and kitchenware.
A forward cabin area provide sleeping accommodation and an enclosed bathroom with flush sea toilet, wash hand basin and extractor fan.
The aluminium frame cabin windows have recently been re-furbished and have tinted glass throughout (offering a good degree of privacy).
Other Details:
The boat comes with flares (require updating), fenders, mooring ropes and anchor, anchor chain and anchor rope. It also includes an extensive canvas canopy which covers the entire deck area aft of the cabin and which was installed new in August 2010.
